A Hog Roast is an entertainment factor in itself.  Our Chef lavishes his attention over your chosen meat to ensure that you and your guests enjoy the succulent and tender meat accompanied by a selection of salads and condiments.

In fact, you don't have to restrict yourself to a Hog, you can also choose Lamb or Beef or indeed have more than one.

This is an ideal catering option for a variety of events whether you are looking to cater for a wedding, a party or a corporate function.  We can also supply a wide range of tables, cutliery & furnitue.

Simply Hog:



  • A 55-60 kg Hog cooked to perfection with delicious crackling!


  • The Hog is cooked and carved on site by myself


  • The Hog can either be served directly off the roaster, or carved and placed in heated roll top chaffing dishes.


  • Apple sauce is provided

Hog and Lamb Roast:



  • The above Hog Roast, but with the addition of a 20 kg English lamb.


  • Prior to cooking, the lamb is injected with a marinade in order to keep the meat extra moist. Whilst it’s cooking it is basted with a Soya sauce and lemon juice mixture. The meat is tender and the skin crispy –delicious!


  • Apple sauce and mint sauce is provided

  • The Hog Roast (as above), served with white floured baps and a selection of the following freshly made salads for you to choose:



Salad Suggestions:



Please choose 5 of the following:


  • Greek Salad (mixed leaves with olives & feta with a Greek salad dressing on the side)


  • South African Potato Salad (diced potatoes tossed with mayonnaise, chopped hard-boiled egg and chives.  Crispy bacon is optional)


  • Pasta Salad with Pear & Stilton (to include: mixed leaves with tomatoes, carrots, basil and onion tossed with a lemon, olive oil dressing)


  • Italian Pasta Salad (cherry tomatoes, peppers, onions, mozzarella, olives, dressed with parmesan cheese and tossed in a vinaigrette)


  • Pasta Salad with Basil Vinaigrette (Cherry Tomatoes, Olives, Pine kernels, Sundried tomatoes, parmesan cheese tossed in a basil dressing)


  • Mixed Cabbage Coleslaw with or without fruit (red & white cabbage with carrot, raisins tossed in a mayonnaise dressing)


  • Mexican Tomato Salad (Tomato, Kidney Beans, Chilli in a Coriander dressing)


  • Wild Rice and Bacon Salad.


  • Waldorf Salad (Apple, Celery, and Walnuts in mayonnaise)


  • Fruity Moroccan Couscous Salad (Chick peas, red onion, cranberries & spices in a light honey orange dressing)


  • Beetroot & Onion Salad


  • Curried Rice Salad (Yellow rice in a rich coronation sauce with sultanas & onions)

Miscellaneous extra’s if required:



  • Hot parsley baby potatoes are not included but can be supplied at an additional cost of £60.00 (based on 80 people)


  • Cutlery and crockery is not included, but can be provided at a cost of £1 per person (knife, fork, and china plate). This includes clearing and washing up thereof.


  • We can provide a quote for tea and coffee service


  • We offer a glass hire service – glassware can be hired in units of 24 (red wine, white wine, beer pint glasses, slim Jim, and champagne flutes). Hire cost is 25 pence per glass –the breakage replacement charge is 60 pence per glass.


  • Catering staff and clearing up staff are included. Waitressing staff are not included and is charged at £7.50 per waiter/waitress per hour.


  • Travelling expenses are included within a 40-mile radius of Ashford. Anything further will be charged at £2.40 per mile, one way.


  • To confirm booking a £250 non-refundable deposit is required.
